Project Gargoyle
Project Gargoyle is an attempt to bring cheap Augmented Reality (AR) to the wogs. Augmented Reality deals with the combination of real-world and computer-generated data. Presently AR research is concerned with the use of live video imagery which is digitally processed and "augmented" by the addition of computer-generated graphics. At present Military and emergency services, doctors, and even in education with the use of interactive whiteboards (AR superimposed on a whiteboard). The name "Project Gargoyle" comes from the book Snow Crash. Depicting a man with a clunky wearable computer jacked into the 'metaverse' at any time and any place.
Project Gargoyle's purpose is to enable you to expand yourself via wearable computer systems.
